The Miami Valley DPC members had a great time at the 2017 Doberman Pinscher Club of America’s National show held in Huron, OH Sept 30-Oct7.
A big congratulations to Sharon and Bob Bruno and Javi for their big night at the Top 20. What a great accomplishment and honor.
Carol and Tesla made a big hit in the conformation ring. Tesla won her class in the Futurity and went on to win Reserve in the Futurity. Wait, she didn’t stop there, she also got first place in her class at the National.
Ruth Mueller and her red boy, Cisco, made their debut in agility. Cisco also passed the Working Aptitude Evaluation (WAE) to earn is Working Aptitude Certification (WAC).
Sheri Hill and Max also passed the WAE to earn their WAC.
Julie Lust had some FANTASTIC runs in agility – many Q’s!!! In addition, she placed 1st in her rally class with Izzy.
Michelle Kramer seemed to be on a winning streak by getting a placement with almost every dog she took in the ring. She won the Bred By Class at the Regional with Dorie, the Open Black class with Prada, and she won the Round Robin Tournament with Diana.
Congrats also to Jim Lauver and Michelle Kramer for winning the Good Guy award the night of the Rescue dinner.
Our wagon for the rescue dinner brought in $200.
The 2018 National will be held in St. Charles, IL.
